A hybrid denture is anchored to implants and stays in your mouth full-time, but it still needs daily cleaning around and under the bridge — that area collects food and bacteria the same way natural teeth do.
Quick reference
- Brush the denture twice a day with a soft brush and non-abrasive denture cleaner or mild soap (regular toothpaste can scratch).
- Use a Super Floss, interdental brush, or water flosser to clean underneath the bridge — this is the most important step.
- Rinse thoroughly after meals when possible.
- Come in every 6 months for a professional cleaning. We remove the bridge, clean it, and inspect the implants underneath.
- Don't sleep with any oral appliances on top of your hybrid denture unless we've fitted one for you.
